I can't recommend WSO's resume service enough for students or candidates in the workforce looking to lateral.

I came from a small, non-target school in Texas and was working in credit in Houston after already trying to break into Investment Banking. After two years of credit experience, I was trying again to break into Investment Banking with little luck at first; however, I decided to invest in WSO's resume service and I'm not being hyperbolic by saying it was a game changer. This service enable me, as a student with an above average GPA from a non-target and no Investment Banking internship, to break in. Most people you'd speak with would consider this a certifiably low-probability outcome.

Also, to add a little more detail, I was paired with a resume coach who very diligent and took the time to understand what specific positions I was looking for, down to the finer details such as industry coverage and firm size. After my resume coach implemented edits, the finished product was night and day difference from the old version I put together as a student.

Couldn't recommend the product enough, it was truly a game changer for me.

a great course, short lesson, super-condensed and rich of contents from basic to advanced which bring you too a full mastery on how to build advanced financial evaluation of investment projects. BTW after buying this, due to high quality of the course, I bought the whole elite model package which included also DCF course and was immediately refunded of the first payment on DCF stand-alone course. So other than great products and company, they are totally trustable and honest, not granted in the courses sold on line. Super reccomended!

great forum for career advice on finance, news, investing discussions, and fun with people all across the finance community. People regularly give back to the community with AMAs, or offer honest and insightful comments on which career pathway to take. the search function could be improved but overall there's a lot of content that's beneficial for anyone interested in advancing their careers in finance and the capital markets

It's a great resource for people wanting to break into banking/finance/other industries. There are very honest posts and experiences, which is usually good but sometimes can lead to a group bias effect. Also, the brutal honesty is sometimes not the best for newcomers, but I guess that's a good introduction to what you might have to deal with in the industry. Overall, it's a good resource!

He is one of the best mentors I've ever had. He is super helpful, straight forward and passionate about helping students grow in the real estate field. If you have an interview in the real estate field, please don't hesitate to reach out to him. I've had three years working experience in banking and private equity, he can still provide a lot of meaningful suggestions to me over my resume, story, and he even recommends a bunch of recruiters he's been working with. Highly recommend him if you're planning to work at real estate.

Great site for exposure into the world of finance. Helped me learn a lot over the course of my finance career and helped me gain good insight into salaries and what to expect.

The thing I appreciate about WSO is the level of transparency on the forums. Yes, there is a fair amount of "flexing" amongst users who try to showcase how hardcore they are, but on balance, the vast majority of users come to the table with good intentions and a willingness to help. A forum where many of the users know (or really, recognize) one another can provide a level of insight beyond a simple review-only website (e.g. Glassdoor), and that's what I believe WSO to be.

WSO compiles lots of helpful information in an easy to access place. It’s nice that it’s by users, for users. Only thing I’d suggest is making salary information more accessible—I had to jump through hoops just to view the estimated salary for one position. The interview prep materials, exit opportunity discussions, and dozens of other forums, are incredibly helpful.
