Good information on the website and a funny community, but be discerning and don't take everything as undisputed fact (which applies on any forum).

I visited WSO religiously during my time as an undergraduate from 2004-2008. Coming from a non-target, the insights I gained on WSO were crucial to securing a role at a bulge bracket bank out of school (albeit in private banking), and I was even able to link up with prospective roommates working for the same firm in NYC. I continued to frequent the site and can credit WSO for ultimately helping me transition to a buy-side role in private equity for a single-family office.

Amazing quality and quantity of information on financial careers and courses top are top quality with rock bottom pricing. Some are free with purchase which course I was so happy to get.

It is an interesting site but it hasn't really added too much to my day to day life.

I'm not sure what could really be done to improve it though.
