I definitely recommend the resume review service!
I used WSO's resume review service and it was great! I could not recommend this service more! This really improved the look and the quality of content on my resume. The resume reviewer who worked on my resume helped me quantify my accomplishments to have my resume stand out more. This included items that I didn't even realize I could quantify. The reviewer was also able to take my accomplishments and turn them into consise bullet points to get my resume down to one page which made the resume look polished and to the point.
Prior to using this service I was struggling to get out of the insurance industry and into an area of finance that I was more interested in. This service helped me make that transition.

Investment Banking Summer Analyst role at a MM bank
Hey Patrick, I just accepted an Investment Banking Summer Analyst role at a MM bank. Couldn't have done it without the WSO courses, workshops, and mentors. Thanks!
I highly recommend this mentor
I highly recommend this mentor. His impressive credentials speak for themselves as a mentor to anyone experienced in or, new to the industry like me. He has an open, down to earth approach, sharing past successes and failures with a practical action plan. He responds fast, is generous with his time and makes decisions quickly. I feel much less alienated in this process, knowing his expertise is there to reach out to in the event of any difficulties. I believe that fact alone is incredibly valuable.
The course is solid
The course is solid. I’m taking it again and can better understand many of the concepts. The M&A course was updated which is a huge plus because it was the one I had initially rated poorly. That said, it does everything it’s intended to and more.
Essential resource for those entering finance
WSO had a massive impact on the direction of my career. Coming from a non-target and non-traditional background, I would have had no idea where to get started re: recruiting or even the basics of networking. Whereever I had questions about how to reach out, what to wear, what to read, the right questions to ask, etc., WSO had a thread to give me the answers that helped me eventually land several offers for both internships and FT. Certainly wouldn’t be where I am today without it.
Financial Statement Modeling Course Review - 2025-08-25
I like the that the course uses the 10k and some of the examples came in use for a HF model test I took. It goes very in depth.

Great Resource
Best community forum that I have found to discuss CRE topics in-depth and with people who actually know what they're talking about.

Great around excel Tools and linking the different statements. Would have like more content on the different statements itself (outside of Excel).
Associate position at LEK
Hey Patrick! Just wanted to let you know that I just received an offer for a Summer Associate position at LEK in their London office. I truly couldn't have done it without the help of WSO. Thank you so much!
Pricey, but worth it to have a resume you can continue to build on.
Pricey, but overall great service and in my opinion would have done it again. The person that worked with me to write my resume was top notch and had an impressive background from IB to private equity was able to leverage that experience to write a solid resume for me. We hopped on two/three calls. The first call we just walked through every job function I had and I described to him what my day to day ways and a few key projects I was involved in from internship/jobs/ and activities was able to use all the key jargon and formating that IB firms are looking for. I come from a commercial / credit banking background so I have always had a hard time in putting my experience in terms of IB related roles.
I will say tho I would write down every thing that you have done small or large in experiences in order to have a larger list to pull from and although your resume mentor you are paired with to decided, which would likely be better to throw on the ole resume.
For background, I have written 100 different versions of my resume and have always thought I had a solid written resume, but he definitely was able to make my resume stand part.
You may have to wait for replies, but have to understand these folks are still working 70+ hours a week and this is side hustle for them, so definitely don't expect a two turnaround time.
