I visited WSO religiously during my time as an undergraduate from 2004-2008. Coming from a non-target, the insights I gained on WSO were crucial to securing a role at a bulge bracket bank out of school (albeit in private banking), and I was even able to link up with prospective roommates working for the same firm in NYC. I continued to frequent the site and can credit WSO for ultimately helping me transition to a buy-side role in private equity for a single-family office.

WSO is a fantastic community that offers a bit of everything from inspiring career stories, tips and tricks, and much needed satire and humor that are often rooted in a shared reality for young finance professionals and students alike. Beyond that, the courses I bought helped me gain an advantage over others who were interviewing for the same competitive job.

Way better the second time around.

This site has been incredibly helpful throughout my career over the last 6 years. I started my career in a completely different industry and while considering making the move to CRE, needed resources to help me learn the industry, including the various sectors and career paths that may be available. This site has without a doubt been my #1 resource outside of my own network. I read the forums this site provides daily during that time and still do to this day. I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering a career in finance or is currently in the industry and wants to stay on top of things. It has been instrumental not only in making the change but also for continuing education, learning about unfamiliar markets, and networking with like minded professionals as well. 10/10. Got a lot of advice and a full great revamp of my resume. The new one look much better. I had a lot of feedback from the resume expert during the process.

Mentor was experienced professional with relevant qualifications to give an informed view. I believe the price makes sense for the qualified career advice.
