Most complete guide for beginners
The Investment Banking Guide contains everything a beginner needs in order to lend interviews and jobs. Its value does not stop at simply elaborating the right interview answers (like 400 IB questions and some other peers in the street), but explains what's expected and socially acceptable in the finance world. It helped me lend an awesome Hedge Fund gig right out of undergrad. Now as a finance professional, I see that the content acts as a set of basic rules and principles one must follow and understand in order to fit in into the elite world of top finance.

Something I think would ease the flow of information would be to have sort of a Fast Track - simply combining the most important videos to nail an interview when you have ~1 day to prep (that was my case and I had to select the most important ones on my own, which was likely less efficient than what you guys would have recommended given your expertise in training prospective monkeys.)

The videos on the course are great and insightful, but some video topics get a little random later on.

Another feedback that I think might help you guys commercially is the fact that I have met people who have the PDFs of the courses without buying them (some friend likely shared it). I think having full access is much more valuable than the PDF, however, I think it would help if you made it more difficult to do that - either through password requirements on the PDF or to somehow encrypt the document in another format to avoid this.

Well I have been here for a while and it has been quite informative and fun. Although being from Mumbai, didn't see a lot of content focused on global so maybe if you could push it to have a more global coverage? That way, it can be helpful to the folks here as well.

WSO helped me tremendously when getting…
WSO helped me tremendously when I was getting my start in finance. I began my journey as a disillusioned former pre-med student looking for another professional path - others had recommended I consider investment banking, but I had no idea where to even begin breaking in. The community at WSO provided helpful advice around prepping for interviews, how to build my recruiting strategy, and what to do after I finally did land that all-important internship. Fast forward to the present day, almost a decade later, and I am wrapping up my second year at a top MBA program, headed to an excellent investment firm in NY to begin the next phase of my career when I graduate.

My only complaint about WSO is that it increasingly seems to attract a large number of very opinionated high school and college students who confidently spread misinformation about the industry and clutter the off-topic forums with barely concealed white nationalist / angry incel discussions. These people diminish the quality of the entire community. In contrast, mid-career and senior professionals who could actually provide value-added advice have become less visible in recent years. I feel that WSO's usefulness to me has declined sharply for that reason - I would not feel comfortable associating my real name with much of what happens on the site nowadays.

Awesome and professional service
The completed product is just amazing, not only it is done professionally in terms of both the format and its context. Additionally, its reviewer is willing to go extra miles by explaining the rationale of each changes. Overall, it is such a superb service, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is trying to break into investment banking.

Simplified to the extent that a monkey can grasp the concepts. Easy to learn the logic behind some of the Q&A.

Feel like my resume needed far more work in terms of rewriting. Structure and format wise it was fine but I anticipated more than just moving words and sentence around. I was hope to get help with showing commercial impact and did not really get that.

It's been a good experience being able to help act as bumper rails in the bowling lane of these fresh out of school and entry level wallstreeters thinking they're going for an immediate strike and eventual perfect game. Being able to weigh in with some real world examples to show something they may have missed in their optimism just to urge some caution and prudence. The other senior members are also always helpful and polite. There's no real "flame wars" unless someone seemingly causes it on purpose. And honestly, sometimes we senior members do it to each other because we all get a good laugh out of it and it's a good way to make light of some of the real oddities we've come across to help shine some light for the younger cohort.
