WSO is a great supplement for any student looking to pursue a career in finance. First and foremost, the platform provides more insight into the interview process then any university club or class could provide. Next, the timeline for recruiting is usually a black box, but thanks to WSO students have a clear idea of when they should start preparing. Finally, after receiving an offer for a job in high-level finance, WSO helps you understand what to expect in that role and how to be the best analyst you can. I really enjoyed the service while recruiting! The one area for improvement is having free access to salary ranges and firm locations before starting a process with a firm. By allowing a student to have access to 3-5 salaries for free (similar to Glassdoor) it will better encourage people to purchase a subscription.
