Hi Patrick, just wanted to let you know that I just got an offer for a software investing firm for software m&a analyst for sophomore summer, academy was super helpful and did a ton of mocks beforehand.

Investment banking resumes have to be nearly perfect in order to even get into the door. Working with my reviewer from WSO, we went from a general, stripped-down, task-based resume into an in-depth, investment banking focused, accomplished based resume all in the span of two days. I can't thank him enough for his solid work.

Overall, great platform and great experience. I joined few years ago when i was in college, definitely gave me more insights into the finance world, especially the investment banking industry; from experiences as an intern to funny stories from MD levels, i’ve gotten out more opinions and information from users here than i would have from college career fairs. Highly recommend people to check it out whether you are looking to get into the industry or just want something to laugh at at a professional level.

Good forum and resource for aspiring finance kids in general. Would like for there to continue to be a focus on certified reviewers from a variety of countries and backgrounds.

I wrote for WSO through an internship program and rhen briefly as a paid writer. The experience was excellent. Not only did I learn a lot from writing for them, but getting engaged in the community was really awesome. I also had a chance to speak with the owners of WSO a few times, and it was always a pleasure. Always felt welcomed and appreciated, even when my writing was controversial.
