What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview process consisted of two campus interviews followed by a site visit/interview.
The first campus interview was ~20 minutes and seemed to be mostly a basic filter using generic behavioral questions and 'why this major', etc questions.
The second campus interview was ~45 minutes and touched on a broader range of my experiences. The interviewer seemed more well-versed with my background than in the first interview - the questions were much more targeted and challenging.
Before the on-site interview, Accenture connected me with an alum working for the firm. His guidance was that the on-site interview is a formality, so it took a lot of pressure off me. However, I found the interview to be a lot more formal than expected. The day was half sales pitch and half interviews. I met with ~3 people who were relatively senior in the organization. Their questions were all behavioral, but they were more challenging than the previous interviews. It seemed they were trying to test how well I work under pressure and if I'm a generally likable guy.
