General Interview Information
Interview Details
Interview process was only one round (which seemed unusual) consisting of two one on one interviews.
First was the usual fit questions and a case, which started out very qualitative and eventually moved into some very easy math at the end. Curveball was that conclusions had to be presented on a 2x2 grid and walked through as a visual guide. The fit questions were fairly generic: who are you/how did you get here, what do you know about our company, why should I hire you.
Second was unusual, and probably a disguised stress interview. We had a lot in common and talked a lot at the beginning, but he cut me off very quickly as soon as I started answering any actual interview questions. The case was a healthcare case, but he provided the complete framework and walked me through, again with lots of interruptions/cutoffs/rejections of ideas. Given the situation I just took it as a really interesting learning experience.
The first case was pretty easy, the second was unusual since he walked me through it directly. In both cases the biggest thing was probably thinking aloud constantly and progressively advancing conclusions to avoid getting stuck.
