Summer Intern
General Interview Information
Interview Details
The phone interview was essentially a standard competency interview for 80% of it, asking one to flesh out their resumes. To conclude, you are given a short case study. My case study concerned a retailer with problematic distribution channels. While this wasn't to do with technology, I mentioned an opportunity to upgrade their IT for monitoring products etc, which went down well I think.
At the end of the phone interview, I was offered a place at Accentures 'Boot Camp,' which I accepted. I found the staff there engaging and friendly, and the pervading atmosphere was excellent. Indeed, this was reflected when I went to London for the final interview, contrary to some reviews of Accenture (although, they would be looking to put their best foot forward!).
The final interview was at Fenchurch St in London. This consisted of a group study, 1-1 interview and a case study. In the group study you work on a case as part of a team, but obviously it is your teamwork they are monitoring rather than the actual result. The interview was on competences again. The case study had a bit more technology focus in the final interview (improving a firms communications was the central element) but I would advise preparing for it as you would a pure strategy firm to maximise chances for success.
