Not including the first level of screening from career fairs, applications through email, or through personal referrals, the interview process can be split into two rounds. The first round is a fairly laid back, behavioral/situational type of interview. This round includes several one on one meetings with the rest of the team where the interviewers ask typical questions for this level round. The second round is a true, technical interview. The interviewee is provided with a made-up company's financial statements and a few details about the industry comparables. Given this data, the interviewee is supposed to conclude an equity value per share for the firm.
