Research Analyst

Initial HR interview, who asked the basic behavioural questions. It was more of a sense check.
This followed with an interview with some credit research analysts, 2 separate interviews with 2 in one and 2 in another. Varied from technical questions, to behavioural, like “why do you want to work at Aegon”, “what drew you to Asset Management”. As it was a for fixed income role, the technical questions surrounded this.

Following this, you had to do a case study. They gave you the company with a file containing their bonds, then you had around a week and a half to prepare a pitch. In the interview you have around 5 analysts grilling you on your pitch. Prepare the opposite side of your thesis also.

Everyone seemed super friendly, seemed really passionate about their jobs and communication was pretty quick, heard back from all rounds within a week.
