Interview
Was contacted about a week after applying online via Handshake for two back-to-back one-on-one interviews. Only actually scheduled the interviews about a week and a half later as HR missed my initial response and had to follow up. Interviews themselves were on zoom and consisted of one technical followed immediately by a behavioral with a different analyst. Technical interview asked basic accounting questions including:
What is working capital?
Walk me through the financial statements?

As well as some software specific ones like:
What metrics would you use to evaluate a software company?
Are there any deals we have done that have interested you?
What is a software trend/subindustry that interests you?

Behavioral interview was standard. TMAY and questions about overcoming challenges, leadership, and about interests/hobbies were asked, can't remember exact details.

Both interviewers were very friendly and warm. Was notified a couple days later that I wouldn't be moving forward in the process.
Interview Questions
Perhaps key SaaS metrics? Although that is pretty standard for a SaaS-focused IB
