Asset Management Program

I applied online in late 2013. I received an email from a recruiter for the company requesting a phone interview. This happened a week later. They asked behavioral questions "Explain a situation when you..." etc., and verified that i met the basic requirements (know stat packages, minimum GPA, graduation year, work eligibility). The recruiter was very nice. I was told I would hear back by the end of the week. I did not hear back until the next week, and the hiring manager (i assume) requested a second interview with someone on the team. She seemed confused about the whole process and initially set me up to interview for the wrong position. The interview was a series of behavioral questions and technical questions. Nothing too hard. I did not get offered a next interview. I suspect this was because I don't know anything about finance or wealth management.
