Associate Portfolio Manager

I was notified of the program through my campus job site, and then applied to the position through AB. I interviewed for a rotational program within the Portfolio Management Group. My interview consisted with 2 phone interviews, one with HR and another with someone in the associate role I was applying for, and a super day. The interviews consisted mainly of behavior questions, particularly ones asking to relate to specific examples in your past. AB also is a fan of brain teasers. I was asked one during my second phone interview, and about 2 for each interview I had on my super day. There were no technicals, as the role doesn't really require extensive knowledge of finance. Overall the process was very friendly and enjoyable.

Make sure you have a good story as to why you want to work at AB/investment management, and make sure you feel very comfortable with common behavioral questions.
