Interview
I applied only through their career website and in a couple of weeks, I heard back asking me to partake in a 30-min interview. The first interview was very laid-back; the recruiter was trying to understand my skillset and why I would like to join American Express. After I passed that interview, I received another request for 2 additional 30-minute interviews. Again, both interviews were very laid-back. However, the third interview really focused on my technical skills in the sense of how comfortable I was with using Excel and some coding languages. No "technical" questions overall, just personality and behavioral.

Submitted application, got some skill and personality tests by email, did some hireviews, got through to the final interview stage. Was a Webex (like zoom), call. I had 3 interviews. 2 mostly behavioral with a couple of questions about the company. One was more of a case study. I was presented with information and had to answer questions I was asked. Didn't receive an offer.

A lot of campus events to attend to network. Having career conversations with analysts helped to get the interview. Interview questions were standardized divided between two interviewers.
Interview Questions
Some questions about all the different ways the company made revenue and what the biggest costs were. They were looking for specific answers with rankings as well. All the other questions were pretty standard interview questions. I hated how it was standardized. Felt very stiff and unnatural. Hard to keep a conversation flowing when the interviewer is flipping through pages to make sure they're filling out the interview form. Probably the oddest interview that I've had thus far. The interviewers were nice I suppose.

Interview Questions
-Can you talk to me our business model.
-They went through a technical problem, but it was more case like. They just described the scenario, gave you a formula and then it was up to you to think outside of the box to answer the question
"For example, this formula is what we use to determine x, what does it mean if y goes up for x and what are the other factors we should consider using our business model"
-They asked about the difference with them vs Visa and Mastercard
-It was mostly behavioral-- tell me about a time when...
