Interview
I applied via Linkedin, and heard back several weeks later from HR. I had an initial interview with the Human Resources Manager, and then I was scheduled a time to talk with the Finance Manager after passing the initial screening. The FP&A Manager asked questions regarding the extent of my financial experience.I believe that I got the internship by bringing up my technical skills (SQL). It is very necessary to set yourself apart in any way, and with the growing technology sector it is important to stress to your potential employer that you have those skills and are able to analyze and sort data.

Interview
A day after applying online for the position I was contacted by HR and scheduled an initial phone interview. This was pretty standard with some behavioral questions and questions about whether I would be able to commit to internship dates, etc. I was told I would hear back in early February, although it was almost March until I was finally told I was being called back for a second, and final round interview. I came into the office and met with three individuals for 30 minutes each. These three people are now my manager, her co-worker, and director of the department. I received my offer a few days after my second interview and then completed an online background check and urine drug test as a condition for employment.
