I applied online for this Economic Consulting firm, Analysis Group, and a week later got an invitation for an interview. I had a scheduling conflict so nicely emailed back and forth with Amalya Labell (she/her) a Recruiting Assistant and had a new time set up. The interview was a Zoom with two Senior Analysts and was 30 mins long. About a week later I got another email that I would not be continuing in their process.

Second round interview was a full day in person interview, with dinner to follow. A one hour presentation about research, a lunch, and 6 half hour interviews.

First round interview with Analysis Group. I had one analyst and one associate asking behavioral questions. First few questions are about "Tell me about yourself" and "Why economic consulting". The rest of the interview focused on a personal project that is analytical. I told them about my econometrics paper and they really grilled me on it. You need to know your project well to be able to do well on the project.

The interview began with a 1-on-1, mostly behavioral, focused on whether you understood what economic consulting is and why you are interested in AG. I then went on to the second step which was 3.5 hours meeting with various people at the location you're interested in. Mostly behavioral but some questions pertaining to econometric/data analysis concepts.

Some questions worth keeping in would be understanding basic econometric concepts and models you learned/have experience with. Others asked data analytic scenarios like how you would deal with missing variables in the dataset.
