Atlantic Investment Management is a $1.7 billion value-oriented equity investment firm that was established by Alexander J. Roepers in 1988 and has been a Registered Investment Adviser since 2006. Atlantic manages regional long/short and long-only funds in the US, Europe and Asia. Our funds do not employ leverage and emphasize liquidity and transparency to our investors. The firm has 27 employees located in New York and Tokyo.

Atlantic's investment approach is bottom up and fundamentally driven. Within the broad mid-cap equity market, we focus on a consistent subset of companies and employ a strict buy/sell discipline. We apply a business owner's mindset to selecting high-conviction long investments, emphasizing predictability of cash flows balance sheet strength. We seek to make short investments in companies that are overvalued with near term catalysts.

Our veteran investment professionals continuously build deep industry and company specific expertise through 400 company visits and an additional 1,000 management meetings annually across the US, Europe and Asia.
