Interview
Phone interview with the communications manager followed by case interview followed by a super-day. The initial screening was fairly straightforward (you just talk about your resume and ask a few questions). The case interview was a little tricky. You have to do a fairly detailed analysis of a distressed company and come up with ideas to turn it around. The super-day was mostly just the management team getting to know you, and it was more fun than stressful. Very pleasant experience overall.

Also, behavioral question have to be able to talk through what your story is and why specifically you are good fir for firm. They are really looking for good fit and not just another associate. The case study. It is designed to handle the entire R&T process. This means creating an initial valuation (through comps or dcf, you must provide your own comps and multiples) and justifying the assumptions based on publicly available research. After you pass the valuation you are provided SKU level inventory data, a quality of earnings report for both your customers and suppliers. The main point is to investigate that your customers and suppliers won't go bankrupt and leave you high and dry holding the asset. In addition, evaluating the inventory levels, DSO, DSOH and DPO to determine if and how to streamline working capital.
