The Interview Experience is a score from 1 star (very negative) to 5 stars (very positive) generated based on the Interview Insights at this company.

The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
After you submit your CV & Cover letter, the recruiters will call you for a first round interview, usually with an associate.
If you pass that one, you’ll get invited to 2-4 1-on-1 Interviews at the office, which includes an paper-investment-case study (e.g. paper LBO, revenue model, etc)
Interview Questions
They asked me to pick a portfolio company of them to which I could answer some questions.
First question was very similar to a Consulting Interview, i.e. I had to explain how the company operates, what specific weaknesses it could have, what drives the topline and what the profitability. They went into detail by interrupting and asking about specific assumptions or underlying concepts.
They also asked about the # of bigmacs eaten in Germany each year and the effects of an increase of that consumption on Bond Prices in the Long-run. (I.e Government Bonds, German Bunds in Particular)

Interview
First round was over the phone with an Investment Manager, fairly technical and case study based. The second round consisted of 3 20-minutes interviews with two associates and one principal. Last round was with the MD
Interview Questions
Overall the questions were fairly normal; to be expected. Mostly asking about the links between the three statements and valuation knowledge - one preparing for a traditional IBD internship will also be well-prepared to such questions, and the best way to work through those is probably to read the Vault guides. However, there was also a case study: I was told about a potential target company and had to guess what questions to ask to management, which was not obvious.

Personality Test
Interview
Took a Personality Test -- which also included IQ and logic test elements (think LSAT analogies and next in pattern, etc etc.) -- and after passing the test, had a series of interviews. Interviewers emphasized the "rule of law" and need for being detail oriented. Interviewers appreciated that I followed the news and various deals Aurelius was involved in and outcomes.
Interview Questions
red is to orange as blue is to? seems to me that many of the questions, if i looked at the answers long enough, i could justify -- green or purple?!

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and was invited to a first round interview with the firm after going through an easy telephone interview.

I then had 2 interviews (each 1 hour) with two different people at the office. The first interview was with the "#2" of the firm, while the second interview was with an investment professional. The first interview covered all the typical fit and basic technicals. He also asked a lot about my understanding of the fund. The second interview was entirely technical and was just concerning various models. At the end he gave me an IM and I had to make an investment decision.
Interview Questions
Take a look at this IM. It is a carve out situation that we actually looked at. I will give you 5 minutes to scan through everything and then I would like you to give me 3 pros/cons why or why not we should invest. No calculations please.
