Investment Banking Analyst

A friend offered to pass on my resume to the VP responsible for recruiting. It took about three weeks before I heard back, point at which they said they wanted to do a phone interview. Easy phone interview - basic background, behavioral question and a couple of basic technicals (valuation methods, etc). Waited another three weeks before getting an email for a "Super Day" in Nashville, TN.
There were two other candidates, and we were all vying for one spot. Pretty chill social Thursday night to meet everyone. Super Day consisted of 5 2-on-1 interviews...questions were mainly fit and atmosphere pretty relaxed. A few technicals from the analysts. They promised to get back with decision the following Tuesday but only got mine on Friday - reason being they wanted to find out if their first choice candidate would sign the offer.
Overall, good interview experience and good, small-feel atmosphere.
