Presentation
Background Check
Interview
Very quick and easy. I was contacted by the recruiter after submitting my resume on handshake and he wanted to schedule a call the same week. After two phone interview, two Skype calls, and one presentation I got the offer.
Interview Questions
The presentation I was required to do for the final round interview was quite challenging as I was continuously asked questions like why did you include that in your presentation and so on. It was the hardest part of the process because my interviewer told me he was going to try to throw me curve balls to see how I thought on my feet and he definitely put that to the test. I am really lucky that I had given the presentation before or I would have really struggled. It was just hard because he tried to get me stumped at times.

In groups of 30, we met the financial advisors at their office. After narrowing the number of candidates down from 200, I made it to the final 10. From there, we did 1-1 interviews for a single position opening, I was not accepted.
Interview Questions
How do you, a sophomore, plan to benefit our specific firm? What do you bring to the table? Why Should we hire you over the other candidates? What do you know about asset location vs. allocation? What makes you stand out? What do you do in your free time? Would you rather be rich and disappointed or happy and broke? How many cell phones do you think there are right now in New York City? What is your favorite memory from middle school? How do you have a failure? Name a time when you were reprimanded.

Interview
Very short, easy and accessible. Was contacted via email by recruiter and later scheduled an inperson interview.
Interview Questions
Very behavioral-based however, these tend to be quite tricky when asked in repetition. It is important to align your goals and values with theirs. It is also important to remember what you had stated previously because they will ask you again. Questions such as "tell me about yourself" and "tell me about a time..." Be sure to prepare examples before hand and also be yourself. A little personality can go a long way, and might even make the interview process more interesting. "where do you see yourself in 5 years"

Group Interview
Interview
Applied on school website, contacted in a few weeks, had a onsite group interview and one on one interview afterwards
Interview Questions
Nothing really difficult, just prepare to introduce yourself and answer questions in front of a group. the group interview is not a case interview, just the manager went over each person as there is no enough time to conduct one on one interview. generally 2-3 minutes per person. Be polite, be yourself and wait for them to contact you. They generally won't say no to you because they need free interns to help them. So show your willingness to do dirty work and you will be fine, that is my advise.

They want to hire energetic sales-type people. People who are personable and can hold a conversation are the best candidates they look for. At the end of the day, the firm focuses on selling their products and less about finance. You have to interview with usually 1-2 managers and 1-2 advisers.
Interview Questions
Typical interview questions: why do you want to work here, why do you want to be a financial adviser, what are your personal/career goals in life

Interview
No phone interview; just had me come in and looked at my resume and talked about the job. Said he didn't have reservations about me being successful there, just wanted to know I wanted the job and to go home and do some soul-searching, and then get back to him on if I wanted it. He was very honest about what the job would entail. He asked me no questions about myself whatsoever. It was a fairly pleasant interview. I asked questions, which he enjoyed.
Interview Questions
Do you have any questions for me? That was the only question! I asked about his reservations for me to be successful, important skills to have, and common mistakes. He asked what I want in a job and what I do on campus, but only very briefly.
