Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I actually interviewed for BBVA Compass - corporate HQ.
Seemed very brief: I applied online 2 weeks before their deadline and was scheduled for an in person interview on campus.
The interview was 1 on 1 and mostly behavioral. I actually thought my interviewer was really nice and it seemed very conversational and fun.
The interview was more on the easy side and nothing technical sprouted up. Though I was not interviewing for pure Investment Banking, more commercial and middle market mixed with the rotational.
Advice I would offer would be to seriously consider if you would actually like to work for a more commercial bank. There is BBVA, and this is BBVA Compass - little more laid back.
