Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Very laid back interview. The position was unpaid and course credit was offered. Be ready to speak about your experience with Excel, why you want to get into financial planning (very important), and obviously why Merrill Lynch (know about this office in particular since it's one of the largest/highest revenue in New Jersey. Double check on this though because that's what I was told during the interview).

The position is back-office, eat lunch at your desk, and you'll be doing a lot of work. However, it definitely look good on your resume and the person you'd be underneath (Eric at the time) seemed like a great mentor.
