Initial ~7 question hirevue consisting of typical behavioral questions followed by a 1 hour virtual superday 2-3 weeks later. Superday was 30 min behavioral (what do bankers actually do, why bofa, name a recent IB transaction, what drives you to succeed) and 30 min technical (walk me through DCF, 3 statements, strong LBO candidate, 10 dollars of depreciation, paper LBO). Had interview towards end of week and heard back the following Monday.

Interview
Great people - seem to value culture fit and networking a lot. Formal process with a selective hirevue (~400 people), followed by a superday. SPD is virtual, 3 seniors, markets and behavioral focused. SPD is also group specific, so I’d recommend catering your markets answers and your personal story accordingly.

I first applied for a networking program in NYC, by filling out application online. Then I got a Hirevue for the program. Then I got notified that I was selected to attend the program. Then after the program I got the superday which was guaranteed from my attendance in NYC. Everyone who I met at the event also got an offer, so it was probably almost guaranteed.

I applied online when the application was first released in early June. I completed a basic video interview within 48 hours of submitting, and then in late July/early August, I received an invite to a superday which consisted of three 1-on-1 interviews. I got a call the next morning at 9 am from their headquarters in New York and was offered the position and given 2 weeks to accept. The best way to prepare is to understand why wealth management, know your story, and understand what is going on in the markets and news at a basic level.
Interview Questions
One question that really caught me off guard was: "If I asked your three closest friends to use one word to describe you, what would each of them say?" They asked what my long-term goals were if I entered the wealth management industry. They also asked why I had the minor I had when interviewing for WM and I had to explain that.

Did a HireVue, got a response in 2 weeks, had two 30-minute interviews, one was behavioral, and one was technical. The behavior was simple questions. Why BofA, why capital markets, what's the 10Y yield at the time you failed? The technical had questions like, what's capital markets, give me a recent deal that we did that you followed, and what was the outcome, headlines if the yield dropped by 50bps.
