Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I was referred to BAML by a current employee and had two phone interviews. First phone interview was with an analyst in the group and was a mix of behavioral and technical. The second phone interview was with an associate and was purely technical. After the phone interviews, I was invited to their Superday in Los Angeles. The Superday consisted of back to back interviews with 4 associates, 4 directors, and 1 managing director in a 2v1 format. The interviews were mostly behavioral, the senior bankers mostly wanted to hear about my previous experience, as well as why BAML. The interview with the associates, however, were somewhat technical, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, I had a good interview experience.
