IBD Associate

Great firm with a very outgoing, friendly culture, especially in the Chicago office. A variety of on campus events were held and the bank had a great cross section of employees to meet with students. The interview process was very pleasant if such a thing is actually possible in IBD interviews. 2 interviewers asked a variety of fit and finance questions. I am a career switcher from a non-traditional background so they needed to make sure I knew my stuff. However, the most important factors definitely seemed to be fit-based in terms ability to work with/lead others and ability to handle high pressure/long hours. I chose to go to another bank and backed out of a final round invite. This was a tough choice since I enjoyed the people so much.
