IBD Summer Associate

I applied to BAML online. I initially submitted my resume, and then BAML contacted me to set up a phone screening. I had an interview with a second year associate who wanted me to walk me through my resume and explain to him why I was changing careers. He then asked me about the deals I was following and to discuss the trends and companies in the coverage industry that I was interested in. I then had 2 days of super day interviews in York. Each day had about 4 interviews. After the first day, half of the interviewing pool was cut. The final day I was interviewed by 4 MDs. These interviews were strictly fit interviews. They wanted to see if I had what it takes to be a leader in the firm, as well as gauge whether or not I was in it for the long haul.
