Investment Management Summer Intern

I contacted a senior employee at the firm to discuss the open internship position. He responded quickly and set up a phone interview, during which we went over basic "fit" questions and discussed a few general market-related concepts. He sent my information to the recruiter, which led to a phone interview with HR. The senior employee reached out to me again shortly thereafter and asked me to visit the office for a 1 on 1 interview. The in-person interview was similar to the initial phone interview -- a few fit/behavioral-type questions and a casual conversation about the markets/investing/etc. I received an offer on the spot (contingent on passing the firm's background check).

I was impressed with the office/work culture. The actual building is very nice and everyone was friendly & helpful. All the employees I worked with were competitive & results-oriented.
