Presentation
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I interviewed for a quant internship at Bank of America. I attend UC Berkeley, where I first found out about the position through an on-campus info session where I met the recruiter and some current quant VPs and associates. A week after applying, I was selected for a first-round on-campus interview. It was a half-hour one-on-one interview. I was not asked any technical questions, only questions pertaining to my resume, and the interview was very laid back and conversational. However, note that other students who were interviewed by the same interviewer DID get asked a few technical/brainteaser questions.

A month and a half later I was flown out to BofA headquarters in Charlotte for the final round "Super Day". The interview process consisted of two one-on-one, half-hour interviews, and a 10- to 15-minute presentation. The interviews were again focused on my resume and behavioral questions, and I was not asked any technical/brainteaser questions, but a few other students were. The presentation related to a case-study which we were given several days before the interview. The case study involved coming up with a revenue forecasting model using limited information, and seemed intended to ascertain how candidates think through quantitative problems and make assumptions when relevant data is not provided.

Four days after the Super Day, I received an offer via phone call from the recruiter.
