Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Resume was sent to specific employee in BAML who forwarded it to recruiter. Was then contacted by 2nd-year analyst to meet for brief, informal interview. Was contacted later that week with invitation to superday. Superday consisted of first a lunch with all the interviewers and intern candidates. Very relaxed atmosphere, fun and engaging. After lunch met had interviews - typical superday setup:

1st round: Met with two 2nd-year analysts, was asked a couple technicals, mostly consisted of "walk me through your resume", why i-banking/BAML, and then just chatting at the end.

2nd round: Met with direct-promote associate, "walk me through your resume", was asked more difficult technicals, why BAML/Chicago, then talked about what we did in our spare time.

3rd round: Met with two 2nd-year analysts, the most technical interview. Asked "if you have an increase in depreciation of $100mm, walk me through the changes to Fin Statements", couple ratio questions, walk me through FCF, list 4 valuation methods and explain pros/cons of each, questions on how to evaluate comps with diff cap structures, and other technical hypotheticals. Finished up with an interesting behavioral question and then just chatting.

4th round: Met with VP, "walk me through your resume" and then asked to pitch a stock. Extensive questioning on stock, with VP checking facts on Bloomberg at the same time. Then just standard, any questions? Which led to informal chatting.

5th round: Met with different VP, "Walk me through your resume", why BAML, why Chicago, pitch me a stock. Asked about interests as well.

6th round: Met with MD, asked about where I was from, why I picked the college I did, why I wanted to do banking, why BAML. Asked me to walk through why companies hire investment banks/what they do.

Got phone call later that day, accepted the next week. Great experience overall, culture in the office was evidently very relaxed but smart. Looking forward to this summer.
