Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The logistics of the recruiting process weren't the best in my experience. I was informed that I had been selected for a first round interview and was told that I would be notified of the time in the next few days, however, they finally got around to me asking if I could the interview in a few hours time. There were two phone interviews, both in the span of two days. These two interviews weren't stages, in other words you didn't have to pass the first one to get the second one. My interviewers were polar opposites. The first one seemed to have a less academic background but really pushed hard on the technicals and the theoreticals. He also tried to play bad cop to see if I would get phased - I found that if you are a person that is naturally nervous or just a little uneasy in an interview environment, remember that it is just part of the process - stress is part of the job and they want to make sure you can handle it. The second interviewer was ridiculously smart and had completed nigh on 4 degrees during his undergraduate but seemed to have no interest in the academics or the technicals. He was very calm and friendly - he really only cared about the social fit.
After this I was told that I would be contacted within a week if I made it to the final round interviews but they encountered delays and I received word of my final round invitation over a month after.
