Summer Analyst

This was a super day for BAML Chicago. The office focuses solely on industrials. There was a Hirevue with 5 behavioral questions, 3 phone screens that were mostly resume-based with one or two technical questions, and a super day. The technical questions in the phone screens were straight out of the interview guides (walk me through the sales of $5 of inventory for $10 and a couple others). The super day consisted of 4 30-minute interviews. Two were very conversational and resume-based, each was with an MD. One was technical with two associates. The technical questions were solely valuation related (no accounting). The fourth interview was with two analysts and it was behavioral and resume-based. After the four interviews, they provided lunch with some analysts and associates.

Overall, everyone was really nice and it was a casual process overall, nothing to stress over. They did, however, have a few administrative issues along the way. They had the wrong date on the super day invitation, they failed to book a hotel for me (after saying they would), and they took over a month to reimburse me for travel expenses.
