What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Corporate presentations were followed by two invite-only events. Most of the questions were behavioral and included a thorough review of my resume. The technical questions were not directly from the standard guides and included topics like NCI (Non-Controlling Interest) and goodwill amortization. Other technical questions included:
• How changes in the discount rate (6% vs. 7%) affect NPV when IRR is at 20%.
• A three-statement walk-through involving buying and selling PP&E.
• Calculations related to enterprise value (EV) and equity value.
• A definition and discussion of EBITDA
