What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
It was a typical 1st round phone interview with a Senior Associate. He gave a pitch for about 12 minutes and talked about his background. Then there was the typical "walk me through your resume" question with some general dialogue there. I've been through about ten first rounds in past month, and this one differed in that it jumped into technicals -- mainly, "walk me through a DCF." That was about 10-15 minutes. All in, it was about 40 minutes, longer than most.
