Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Super interview day. Had 8 interviews over the course of the day. Six were with managing director-level analysts, one was with a VP, and 1 was with an equity research human resources person Most questions were behavioral and none were too surprising - difficult time handling people, difficult project, challenge you overcame, etc. A couple typical market sizing questions. A couple random questions such as "What is your favorite song and explain its significance." You should always have favorite song, favorite movie, favorite book answers ready for these types of interviews.
