I applied on our campus recruiting website, and was contacted by a first-year analyst from my school. We scheduled a phone interview in which he asked me some typical questions. But then he transitioned to ask me some of the typical "cop-out" questions. Then he transitioned into the more technical questions. I thought I answered everything, except for the brainteaser, well/correctly; but I didn't get called back for an on-campus interview. Waiting for the dust to clear before I reach out to my contacts inside an try to clarify what happened with that.
