IBD Summer Analyst

From a non-target school for their Menlo Park location, so networked my way to an interview (they had me eventually apply online too). Talked to two analysts then an associate who heads their intern recruiting (he basically did a screen with a short interview). This got me their first round interview via phone. Mostly behavioral with a lot of emphasis on why west coast and why tech, then some pretty basic accounting questions ripped from the guide but more detail into DCF.
People I talked too were all easygoing and informal, said they work a little less hours out west, and they dress business casual. Analyst groups get pretty tight, as well.
