Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Because the company recruits on campus, the process included multiple presentations, including one about the recruiting process, one about the firm as a whole, and one specifically for the investment banking division. Along with meeting alums at these presentations, I reached out to several from my school and spoke with a few about their experiences. Once I dropped my resume, I received notification of my interview roughly a week later, and had about a week from the notification to the actual interview. To prepare, I connected with a couple of alums to hear their advice and thoughts on interviewing. Most recommendations included being up-to-date on the news and having very well thought out answers to why investment banking and why this specific firm. I also did a fair amount of technical prep on my own and with friends going through the process. The actual interview was exclusively behavioral and mostly involved questions about my resume. There were a few questions about news/deals I've been following and ideas for advice I would give a certain company. Overall, the interview was very conversational and casual.
