1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I participated in a diversity boot camp at that concluded with a super day last January. I had to fill out a lengthy application that included three essays, which ranged from our thoughts on capital markets to time we faced adversity. I believe there were ~750 applications for 48 spots of which 24 offers would be given. The boot camp itself lasted three days and included crash courses in IBD and S&T and concluded with 3 interviews with MD's. The questions were mostly fit, but there were a few technical. I noticed that if you nailed the first technical they would lay off, but if you missed it they would keep hammering you.
