Investment Banking Summer Associate

Was reached out to by Barclays IBD associates/MD who are alumni. Professor recommended me to them. My program is non-core with them and so it's all based on relationships. But we have some alumni who may be able to refer a non-core candidate through. It was a single phone call. I would recommend to be extremely technical proficient early on with Barclays as I hear that besides the initial call, which was challenging technically speaking, they use cases to test candidates. Phone interview was one hour long.
