Upon completing the initial online application, along with a verbal and numerical test I was invited to telephone interview. The telephone interview was purely competency based and not too challenging. After this, I was invited to an assessment centre. The AC consisted of an investment presentation (given on a 1-1 basis) whereby a fictional scenario was constructed along with fictional structured products, fictional economic predictions, and a fictional fund whom it was my job to prescribe investment (/asset allocation) advice to.

Further to this, there were interviews. The questions were very varied and ranged from mental maths, competency, general chat, and market specific questions such as discussions concerning what would affect bond yields.
