Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The online application system was fairy easy to use and required me to answer the following 3 competency questions:
-What do you hope to gain from participating at this programme?
-Tell us about a recent Barclays banking innovation. This could be in technology or customer services.
-Discuss a recent piece of financial news in the press. How will this impact Barclays?
After submitting the online application I had to complete an online numerical test, which was not as easy as the others I have completed up to that date. Would definitely recommend spending a little more time practicing on similar tests.
After a week or so I they called me and informed me about getting the interview. I could then choose a date and time for it.
Interview was conducted by HR, who was writing down all my answers to their questions. So I had repeat parts of my answers couple of times. Questions were straightforward, but then there were many follow ups. The whole interview lasted for 1 hour.
