S&T Summer Analyst

Networked with an alum from my school who referred me. Eventually was invited to a superday, which consists of three thirty minute interviews with people from various desks within S&T. Interviewers were all director level or above, but seemed down to earth and clearly were trying to make the candidates comfortable. HR was very prompt in scheduling, sending offer, etc.

The interviews were largely behavioral, as they mostly wanted to talk about the resume experiences and general S&T interests. One of my interviewers grilled me on my market interests, and when I told him about mock trading, he delved deeper into my methods. Also asked an expected value question that I messed up on, but eventually worked out. Overall the interviews were very casual and I mostly focused on trying to be likable -- the lack of technical questions may have been due to the fact that I am interested in sales.
