Summer Analyst

First of all, I have never gotten a single technical question throughout the interview process. Some people supposedly got 1st round phone interviews (I knew one friend who did) but I went straight to "second round" interviews, in which two representatives from the HK office came to a hotel near my school and gave interviews.

These "interviews" were basically casual conversations in which the interviewers introduced themselves and the firm, and I spoke a bit about myself. No technicals or difficult questions at all.

Then I got invited to the Super Day in the New York office, which consisted of three interviews (back-to-back) with each interview consisting of two interviewers who were senior bankers at the firm. They again did not ask any technicals, but mostly focused on questions based on my resume. Two of them went well, and one of them was kind of iffy as this one senior banker was being a jackass. I'm guessing this banker didn't like me because I didn't end up with an offer in the end.

They said they would get back to me in week, but they got back to me in more than 2 weeks. The whole process seemed pretty disorganized.
