Summer Analyst

It was a relatively simple and easy process because Barclays employees were, for the most part, understated, modest, and extremely helpful. Barclays visited my college campus a number of times throughout the fall and were by far the most proactive in hosting events and reaching out to potential applicants. Through their efforts, it was extremely easy to make connections at the firm and gain insight into the culture at various groups.

I would advise prospective applicants to reach out to campus recruiters and also to cold email people within groups that they are interested in. Barclays employees are definitely more likely to respond to cold calls/emails than other firms and it undoubtedly pays off to have strong relationships within the firm.
