Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Networked with a current analyst to get my resume in the "right box." Got the phone interview from there. Phone interview was with an associate and consisted of 10 minutes of behavioral / background questions, 15 minutes of technicals, and 5 minutes of me asking him questions. It definitely I helped that I asked about an IPO that this particular associate had just so happened to personally have worked on. From there was invited to an on-site superday. Superday consisted of four 20-minute back to back interviews. All of which were behavioral / background except for the final interview, which was purely technical questions. Since it was for oil and gas, knowledge of the sub-verticals (Upstream, downstream, midstream, OFS) was expected. Also, expected to know standard valuation questions and current trends in the oil market.
