Interview Questions
Asked me how I would go about creating a pitch book for an upcoming client (Case study-style question that lasted pretty much the entire interview). Client was in an industry I'm not particularly familiar with.

Other than that, interviews were completely behavioral, and seemed like the team wanted to get to know me. Considering that they're a smaller team, having the right fit definitely makes sense.

Asked about my resume, my background, why investment banking, why Billow Butler, why middle market, and then sports.

Phone Interview
Interview
I was forwarded a posting from LinkedIn from a managing director at the firm and sent my resume in a personalized note. He contacted me to set up a time to talk. That first conversation went well and I was handed off to a current associate for a second phone interview. I was mostly interested in learning that individuals background in the hope of learning what it might take to land an offer. Overall it was relatively unstructured in the sense that it wasn't a rapid fire Q&A but rather more conversational than I might have anticipated. They were seeking someone that could come in and hit the ground running as they don't have a formal training program.
Interview Questions
One of the first questions asked was, "What do you know about our firm and why do you think your background would be a good fit for us?"
The classic, "walk me through the three financial statements." That piggybacked onto a question of how would you put a CIM together and what is included to best position a company to market.
