M&A Advisory Internship

A guy named John called me after i applied online and asked me what time and date would be best to interview. He later emailed me all the details including that the interview was via skype. I looked him up on Linkedin and apparently he graduated this spring. After being an analyst for two months he became an associate, which seems pretty sketchy to me. The internship is unpaid. In the initial email, there was a "benefits" section which pretty much consisted of "communication skills, networking skills, organization skills." I looked up the company before the interview on WSO and many people say that there was no networking or communication. They also said that the interns just did all the work the analysts didn't want to do. The skype interview was mostly about what was on my resume. There were no tech or fit questions.
